We are really delighted with the line-up of top quality Medieval Re-enactors that we have managed so far to attract to the 2008 East Anglian Medieval Fayre!

The Order of Fighting Knights

This group from Sheffield has some of the very finest swordsmen among its membership, including Lord Hugh Despenser and Sir Edward of Rochester.  And many very good looking ladies, as you’d expect in such exalted noble company!! The OFK will stage a Tournament A Plaisance each day, with guests from the other assembled groups. NB - Don’t mess with Lady Despencer!

God’s Company of Tabor

God’s Company of Tabor—a raggedy-arsed bunch of heretical mercenaries trying to scrape a living here after their failed uprising against the Teutonic Knights. Not one for the faint hearted—have a good pomander handy, and watch out for dirty tricks and overly strong alcoholic beverages. Best try and be on the same side when it comes to the argy-bargy…..and don’t be fooled by any shiny armour they may have on, it’s at best second-hand if you follow my drift!!!

Horses through History

Specialists in presenting authentic images of Horses and their role in our History, bringing the Ivanhoe Tournament to CressingTemple!!

Tournee

Greatly respected group portaying the middle of the  14th Century.

The Swords of Chivalry

One of East Anglia’s most popular medieval groups.

The Great Northwood Bowmen

Fast growing group with impressive encampment and many skilled archers
